High voltage ready to rock and roll

Posted 28 Aug 2015
Rapid expansion of clinical and research facilities over the last decade has significantly increased the requirement for reliable power supplies at Westmead.
A complex upgrade of critical high voltage power infrastructure is currently underway to secure the precinct’s current and future power needs.
Two transformers have already been upgraded to ensure there is sufficient capacity to meet the current needs of the campus.  The next stage will add additional capacity for any future development and is now underway.
Critical upgrades are also planned for water, gas and other essential services.
Our contractors Stowe Australia Pty Ltd  are now on site, working at the rear of the campus near Redbank Road.
