Do you have ideas on how we should design the entrance to our new hospital building? Then we are looking for you!
The Westmead Redevelopment project team is looking for community members of all ages, cultural backgrounds and language groups across western Sydney, including former patients, carers and those who are – or have been – patients or carers of patients in the hospital, to share their ideas as the Westmead precinct is redeveloped.
From Wednesday 24 August to Friday 25 August staff from the Westmead Redevelopment will be at an information booth answering questions about the project. Staff and community members are invited to stop by for a chat. We'll also have our new virtual reality glasses there to view the artist's impression images of the new hospital building and forecourt.
This booth is part of the annual Hospital Week celebrations held by Western Sydney Local Health District at Westmead Hospital.
Among the many opportunities to be involved, the Westmead Redevelopment project is looking for people to attend an upcoming workshop offering ideas about the new hospital building, including outdoor green spaces and the main foyer. The main entrance to the new hospital building includes access to Westmead Hospital and The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
The event will run from 5:30pm – 7:30pm and will include light refreshments.
To RSVP or for more information, including venue information for the workshop please contact us.
If you can’t make the above event we are still interested in your thoughts and ideas. Below are two questions to get you thinking. We would love to hear any of your thoughts on this.
