WESTMEAD Precinct hits the ground running
SHARE

Some workplaces take time to ease into the year. But not across the Westmead Precinct.

Our partners have hit the ground running in 2019 as they cement Westmead as a leader in health, education, research and innovation.

The latest Precinct Post underlines their commitment to never stop moving – for the betterment of patients, students, staff and the community.

This edition proves that although the work starts in Westmead, the ramifications of what we do here is felt far beyond western Sydney.

Inspiring projects such as Dress for Work and Science Arts Explorers are changing lives while the Central Acute Services Building (CASB) powers towards becoming a world leader in health and the envy of every state and territory.

The Precinct Post also touches base with Parramatta Light Rail, meets the team-minded researchers at the Children’s Medical Research Institute’s Advanced Microscopy Centre, and marks one of Westmead Hospital’s most popular exhibitions in its 40-year history. Plus, we pay tribute to our most recent Members of the Order of Australia and meet a new bub with a special bond at Westmead Private Hospital.

And all that before we sprint off with the University of Sydney team for the RunWest community fun runs.

Thanks to all our Westmead Precinct partners. Enjoy the February edition of the Precinct Post. Download it here.
