Expression of interest - Westmead community representative

City of Parramatta Council is inviting expressions of interest for a community representative from the Westmead area to fill a vacancy on the Parramatta Light Rail Community and Business Advisory Committee.

City of Parramatta is a major stakeholder in the Parramatta Light Rail network and is working closely with Transport for NSW who will be delivering this important project. Council is committed to advocating for the best outcomes for our community and has established the Parramatta Light Rail Community and Business Advisory Committee to provide feedback to Council on matters relating to the design and construction of the project within the Parramatta Local Government Area.

The Advisory Committee provides a mechanism for Council to receive ideas and feedback from the Parramatta community regarding the Light Rail project to then relay to Transport for NSW as the project proponent. The community members represent the precincts along the route.

The Advisory Committee meets on a quarterly basis and is comprised of community members, business leaders and key local stakeholders.

Applicants are asked to complete an application form and a brief (one page) questionnaire. Together they will be used and will assist in selecting a representative with a range of skills and background. Please note applicants must be from the Westmead area.

Application forms and the questionnaire are available by contacting Anthea Hall, Manager, City Engagement on 9806 5371 or by emailing

Expressions of Interest close COB Wednesday 21 February 2018.
