The City of Parramatta Council has drafted a Bike Plan for the Parramatta CBD and is seeking feedback until Monday, 8 May from the local community and visitors. Feedback is valued whether you are a cyclist or not.
The new plan is providing a safe cycling environment for 8-80 through separating cycles from pedestrians and general traffic. As the population doubles from 200k to 400k in the next 20 years along with a significant increase in jobs, The City of Parramatta Council is seeking to provide greater transport choices.
The Westmead Redevelopment project team will be holding a pop-up event at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead on Tuesday, 2 May and at Westmead Hospital on Wednesday, 3 May from 11—1pm. We’ll have information and forms ready to be filled out for anyone who’d like to drop in and provide feedback.
Alternatively, you can visit https://www.cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au/cycling to download the draft bike plan and participate in the crowdspot survey which is also available here.
If you cannot attend one of our pop-up sessions, you can complete a short feedback form template, which makes it easy for you to provide feedback.
You can submit your form by the below ways:
