Business Development and Economic Output

Precinct partners are exploring ways to leverage the most value from more than $1 billion currently being invested in the precinct.

Westmead produces more than $1.9 billion of economic output - the equivalent of 1.6 per cent of western Sydney's economy.

Over 1,000 construction jobs per annum (direct and indirect) will be generated across the life of the project.

Opportunities exist across construction, medical, biotechnology, research and education and retail.

We are seeking opportunities to maximise the participation of Western Sydney local business to ensure that funding for this project is invested back into the community and stimulates the local economy.

This video explains the exciting times ahead for Westmead.
