Arts and Culture Strategy

The future is bright

More than $3 billion is being invested in Westmead precinct as the precinct partners work together to create a liveable, workable and accessible innovation district.

While construction on the Westmead Redevelopment project is powering ahead, every day thousands of dedicated hospital staff are caring for some of the sickest people in western Sydney and from across New South Wales.

Between July and November 2017 the Westmead Redevelopment Arts and Culture Strategy will be developed. We want to hear from staff, patients, families, students, visitors, residents and community members to help us shape the future of arts and culture at Westmead.

Our arts and culture program will create an environment that will aid recovery and help all members of the family feel welcome, safe and connected.

The Westmead Redevelopment team is coordinating events and sessions for you to have your say on the design of the Arts and Culture Strategy.

If you would like to be involved, please contact us.

Origami workshops are being held at Westmead Hospital and The Children's Hospital at Westmead. They are part of Westmead Redevelopment's Arts and Culture Strategy development process. No need to register - just turn up. Free to participate. Contact us for more information.
