Multiplex support new legacy strategy

Westmead Redevelopment main works contactor Multiplex have showed their support for the redevelopment’s newly launched Aboriginal Legacy Strategy by putting dragonfly stickers on their helmets.

The dragonfly has emerged as an important motif for the redevelopment and local Aboriginal people, representing healthy communities and transformation.

Director project delivery Matt Vizard praised Multiplex's initiative.

"Multiplex have supported our Aboriginal legacy and history at Westmead since first arriving on the precinct,” he said.

“Through their development of the Connectivity Centre, which provides support structures and employment opportunities on the Westmead Redevelopment project, they have demonstrated their recognition of the important role the traditional owners of the land play in the construction and development of our future health city.

"The Westmead Redevelopment team look forward to further collaborating with Multiplex in supporting the Aboriginal Legacy Strategy and its continued implementation at Westmead."
